Etang Bretain is 11 acres, this lake is to be developed but for the moment it is used for all our smaller carp to grow on as it is so rich in natural food.

All the former residents were removed in March 2010. The larger carp and grass carp were moved to Etang Gallet and hand picked carp from 15 to 25lb were moved to Etang Du Bois to complement the current stock.  The Black-bass, pike and zander were split between both lakes. The smaller carp, around 250, were returned to Etang Bretain to grow on.

We have future plans to develope this lake into a big carp water but for the moment it is available to our customers to fish if they please.
