	*The Rules...*

	There is an old saying “Rules are there to be broken” at Boysaway Carping we do not want this to be the case. The rules are in place to look after our fish and our customers, both of which we think of as special. So we hope you agree to abide by our rules which we think are rather sensible.




	1)	All hooks used to be barbed with either micro or crushed barbs to a maximum size of size 4.

	2)	Mainline to be mono - no braided lines or spyder wire type lines to be used. Recommended mainline BS of 12lbs to 15lbs.

	3)	Only safety (Korda & Nash type) or running rigs allowed. We need to ensure that should you lose a fish it can eject the lead.



	4)	No bent hooks or long shank curved hooks allowed.

	5)	Rigs - No breaking strains above 25lbs although we would prefer lower.

	6)	Full size European unhooking mats to be used (these can be hired).

	7)	Strictly no sacking even at night (if you want video or professional night shots call the bailiff).

	8)	No particle baits allowed unless purchased on site (we need to ensure that preparation is correct) See Baits available.

	9)	All Clients to have Klinik or equivalent for treatment of hook holds (available on site).


	10)	Boats 1 - bait boats not allowed and certainly not necessary.


	11)	Boats 2 - there are boats on site but these are only for use in extreme circumstances providing that the user wears appropriate safety equipment.

	12)	Please treat all fish with the respect they deserve (please handle to minimum and keep from the water to a minimum time. If you have problems in this respect please call the bailiff who will assist you to get the most from your catch).

		Please respect the fishery rules and the enjoyment of other anglers on the complex.



	We are aware that you are on holiday and want to enjoy yourself, however we think that our rules are fairly easy going however they will be enforced and checked and anyone not complying will be asked to leave the fishery and will not be entitled to any recompense from Boysaway Limited.
