Alex van Voorst, a Mainline & Korda consultant, and very well known in the Netherlands, landed a massive 70 fish in his weeks fishing session at the end of July. This was to complete his filming for this years dvd, Betaalwater in Frankrijk Part VII.

The dvd covers selected commercial waters across France and will be launched at the Carp Show in Zwolle in February 2012.

Alex spent the week fishing Etang Gallet to record a massive catch of 70 fish above 20lb to 44lb. 

His favourite catch of the week was stated by Alex ‘as the prettiest carp he had ever seen’ and is now nick named ‘Alexander the Great’.  He also caught his PB grass carp which  had never been banked before.
